Tactile Wisdom

Textural rumbling
Of wool against skin
That roughness,
Disgust, even
You can feel in your teeth

About this piece:  I was thinking about the wisdom of the body and how the senses, particularly touch, can elicit certain emotional states or be felt internally and viscerally.  An example of this is the voltaic effect from biting on metal if you have a filing or the enjoyment of certain textures.  Tactile-emotional synesthesia exists in some individual, essentially hyper-connections in the brain that link textures to emotional states (we all have this to some extent).
