Additional Information on Feathering the Nest

To achieve optimal wellness, one must apply it towards every possible endeavor, including parenting, which is a complex mixture of arduous and uplifting. Adding spirituality and intention to your parenting is a rewarding way to connect with your children as well as staying centered during the inevitable challenges.  The event offerings below are my attempt to add depth to familial relationships, connect children with their intuition and mindfulness, and support caregivers on this incredible journey of parenting.

WILD Mother*-Daughter Circle:

Our WILD mother (female caregiver)-daughter circles follow the same or similar monthly theme as the WILD Woman Project Circles and are shortened and adapted to include our daughters.  We utilize the same tools as our women’s circles – meditation, intention setting, ritual, and ceremony, with the addition of more movement-based mindfulness activities, such as tea crafting and yoga.  These circles are intended as a SHARED experience between mother and daughter, to allow bonding, connection, and a deepening of relationship.

Recommended ages are 8 years old and up, though some younger children might be mature enough to attend.

The event is capped at 5 families.  Because of the planning involved, no walk-ins will be admitted and advanced registration is required.

To register, see http://www.theresiliencyinstitute.net/learn/learn-classes/ .  Past circles have SOLD OUT 2 weeks in advance, please register early to guarantee your spot.
